We give great thought to who will be bred with who after looking at COI and making sure that we do not reduce the gene pool or bring bad gentics into our lines.  

Before you decide on a Golden Retriever take the time to research the breed, what its going to take to train and do you have the time needed to accommodate this in your life style, this is a breed that thrives on human interaction and attention.

If you decide to get a puppy from us and we feel comfortable that you can care for this small precious child, and you understand the commitment you are making to this young furry child. Then welcome to our family. All of our puppies come pre spoiled and ready to continue in that tradition.

We have been getting several calls from people looking for puppies that they can have the same day. Here at Millstones Golden we feel that a decision of this nature is not something you can make on the spot and will not adopt a puppy on the spot, we have a 72 hour wait period from the time you see the puppies and the time you could potential pick up your puppy. That gives you time to think about this decision and get everything ready for your new furry child, with adopting a puppy you need to remember that this child is going to be with you for at least 13 years, and keep in mind where are you planning on being in your life in 13 years. We don't ever want to discourage adopting but we also want to make sure this will be a forever home or our puppies. 

We also firmly believe that our puppies need the interaction with there litter-mates till 9 weeks of age and will not let our furry children leave our care much before that. We understand that most people are excited about getting there new puppies but we want your puppy to leave when it is in there best interest, and we know they will thrive in there new homes. We also understand that other breeders send there puppies at earlier ages however we stand firmly that our puppies do not leave us till 9 weeks of age.

If you are interested in any of our upcoming breedings please e-mail me to get put on a waiting list, as for most of the puppies are sold before they are born. Most of our puppies have nice heads and stocky bodies, and are just beautiful, with nice personalities.
